How it works

The Fideliza module carries three URLs — the main platform, the gift-card client view and the gift-card admin view — each validated separately on the centre form. The controller resolves fidelizaURL and distinguishes a configuration problem (fideliza_url_invalid) from a runtime failure (fideliza_url_error), which is better than the other embeds. Related MOF button types: gift-card and gift-card-admin. Stores can nominate gift-card administrators by email on the store form.

1. Centre has the Fideliza module with valid URLs.
2. User opens Marketing → Present cards.
3. fidelizaURL resolves and the platform loads.

Failure paths

URL not configured or malformed

Cause — Fideliza URL missing/invalid.

What happens — fideliza_url_invalid in the view; the centre form blocks saving with configuration.center.fideliza-url.error.

Platform error

Cause — Fideliza unreachable.

What happens — fideliza_url_error (‘An error occurred. Please try again later.’).

Store missing gift-card administrators

Cause — Gift card enabled for a store without administrator emails.

What happens — error.commerce.gift-card-admins.required on the store form.
