Configures the centre’s social wifi (Flame: network SSID and security type — open, WEP, WPA or PEAP) so the app can connect customers, and the location features: a geofence radius and which location-triggered features are on (coupon exchange, push notifications, store polls), plus foreground location.

How it works

Validation follows the module pattern: Flame enabled requires an SSID; location enabled requires a positive radius; and handleLocationCheckboxChange requires at least one of the three location features (configuration.center.location.enabled-error-message). Location settings are what make ‘on-location’ push notifications and location-based coupon exchange work, and foreground location adds calculated_income / calculated_postal_code to customer exports.

Geofenced features enabled

1. Admin enables location, sets a radius in metres and ticks push notifications and coupon exchange.
2. Saves; on-location pushes and location-gated coupons now work in the app.

Failure paths

Wifi without SSID

Cause — Flame enabled, SSID blank.

What happens — required + configuration.center.flame.ssid.

Location without radius

Cause — Radius blank or not greater than zero.

What happens — required + configuration.center.location.location-radius.

Location with no feature ticked

Cause — All three sub-options off.

What happens — configuration.center.location.enabled-error-message.
